Happy Christmas Seannachoill revellers.

I have just caught up on your last few posts, and it shows that the journey is worth the end result, this comes from someone who was trying to work at home on Monday, as has only travelling 20 miles to go to Waitrose last weekend. Well I needed to get my free paper and tea, plus watch the middle classes fight over the reduced shelves, so they can fill up their Audi's, and other up-market makes that are available!
In very wet England, we have sunshine and an almost quiet house, this is apart from me typing away, although I am not sure it will staying this way for long. So enjoy the limited range of baked goods, as I am sure they will taste nice and if you go out remember to tie your laces.

PS I loved the reflected image in the lovely bauble.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time at home.

Great blogging; keep up the good work!

Thank you all.

2015 The List Of Stuff

  • 10 - A packet of 100 tea lights
This is one item. I don't care what you say.
  • 7 - 9 Three small containers.
What can I say? I went to Ikea and everyone knows if you try to leave without buying something they send you back to go round again.
  • 2 - 6. Kenwood Chef
I have wanted one of these for at least 20 years. I bought a second hand one which died after a few weeks. This was in a sale and was less than half price. I now have the problem of getting rid of the second hand one. I am counting this as five objects; bowl, mixer and attachments; spatula; spanner; recipe book; and blender.
  • 1. Pot of Chrysanthemums
I thought these were better value than a bunch of flowers. They cost £3.50.

A Thousand Things

  • 600 - Packet of Crackers
Sell by date Nov 2011. I need to clear out my cupboards more often.
  • 599 - Bag of Chickpeas Sell By Date Jan 2008
I was going to put these in the compost bin but TB has taken them away to cook with. I worked out I must have bought these when I still lived in my old flat.
  • 598 - Glass Vase
This is quite a good vase, cube shaped and would look lovely filled with hyacinths. I have used it once in the last five years. I managed to get Traybake to take it off my hands.
  • 595 - 597 Three books
I left these into the charity shop yesterday. I could probably have sold one of these books as it was a hardback and in v good condition but it is Lend and I am all about charity this year.
  • 594 - Small terracotta plant pot
I actually disposed of three of these but as two came out of the garden I am only counting this as one object. I re-potted some plants I bought for a friend for her birthday. I also bought some compost and sand but as I am either using it all up (the compost) or leaving it outside neither of these items are being added to my Stuff list.
  • 592 - Cardboard Storage Box
I put the Kenwood Chef in this. It counts as an item as I have had it ever since I moved here so that's just 8 years.
  • 591 - Small Terracotta Saucer
This is one of those little saucers you put under a plant pot. Re-gifted.
  • 588 -590 1970s Kenwood Chef
I am counting this as 3 items, the machine, the flowery cover and the cookery book. I assumed some hipster would buy it but it was a Somalian guy who came to the door. I do not think he will fully appreciate the flowery polyester cover in the way that someone from E5 would.
  • 586 - 587 photographs
I threw ten photographs today so counting as two items. The photographs went in the recycling bin.
  • 585 - Filofax
I think this was a present about 25 years ago. Sold on eBay to a man called Max which seems quite fitting.
