I have to get up at five o'clock tomorrow morning as I'm going to the airport. For once I'm not going to Ireland and I'm not flying on a budget airline. By coincidence Traybake is also going to Heathrow so we are going to treat ourselves to a taxi. Both of us are flying with British Airways and earlier this evening we were talking about checking in on line. Compared to Easyjet/Ryanair it was a remarkably simple process.
"It was all where would you like to sit? How many bags do you want to put in the hold? Remember you are allowed one piece of hand luggage and a handbag. Enjoy your flight!"
"Yeah, not like Ryanair when you finish checking in online a message flashes up saying now fuck off!!
The only little blip is that yet again I have a streaming cold. I am detemined not to let it spoil my minibreak. I shall have early nights and afternoon naps, lots of hot baths, caffe con lattes and gelatos which everyone knows are very good for sore throats. I'm really glad about the generous luggage allowance as I have a ton of cold remedies to bring with me. If all else fails I will pray.
Arrivederci.

have a wonderful weekend

Oh yes. I remember Ryanair! Two steps down from a cattlecar, but affordable....Bon voyage and hope the sun cures the sniffles.
