Today was once again cold and grey. My mood is marginally better than yesterday. I arranged a meeting this afternoon which meant that I was able to go home early - a rare treat these days - and I've spent the entire evening on the sofa.
Has anyone else noticed the peculiar way in which Americans talk about meetings? They don't arrange meetings or go to meetings, no, they take meetings. The only thing I take regarding meetings, is minutes and then reluctantly.
I am now watching Question Time which is always a terribe, terrible mistake.

They also don't want to meet you, they want to meet with you, which to me sounds like the exchange of bodily fluids. No wonder there's always a bottle of antibacterial handwash close by.
