Things I Should Know Already

1.  When the rain is falling in sheets it is best to wear waterproof shoes.

2.  When attempting to dispose of 15 years' worth of bank statements it is best to use a shredder rather than a pair of scissors.

3.  It is very difficult to write a story when you are limited to using 101 words only.

4.  If the person sitting on the tube next to you is a stranger to bars of soap it is best to move to another seat as quickly as possible.

5.  It is never a good idea to attempt to write a list when you are feeling very tired and should already be in bed.
